OLiV Signature Bread Recipe
Follow this simple recipe to bake our delicious Signature Bread from your own home!
Ingredients (2 loaves)
- 3 1/3 cups All-Purpose Flour/li>
- 4 tsp. Refined Sugar/li>
- 2 tsp. Kosher Salt/li>
- 2 tsp. Dry Yeast/li>
- 300 ml Warm Water/li>
- 3 Tbsp. OLiV Extra Virgin Olive Oil (your choice)
Place yeast & warm water in a small bowl. Mix & let sit for 5-10 minutes, until the yeast is activated. Yeast is activated when foaming.
Once the yeast is activated, add ingredients to the Kitchen Aid Mixer in the following order: Yeast with Water, Sugar, Flour, Salt & OLiV EVOO. Mix on low speed for 1-3 minutes, until the dough is formed.
Once formed, increase speed to 5 (medium speed) and mix for 6 minutes.
When the dough is soft & has a smooth consistency, divide into two balls. Round the balls & set on a baking tray lined with parchment paper to let rise for 1 hour. You can cover with a damp cloth to help to rise.
Once the dough has risen, brush with your OLiV EVOO.
Bake at 375 F for 25 min. When the bread is taken out of the oven, brush with more OLiV EVOO if desired.
